When founder Havi Nguyen launched Abby Care in 2021, Colorado was the only state with a robust pediatric family caregiving program. Today, seven states have similar active programs, with Abby Care live and running in five of them, and another eight states are currently implementing or piloting.
We are proud to have partnered with Abby Care from day one of their journey and to continue supporting them at every stage.Thankfully, Candelaria’s tax preparer told her about Abby Care, a company that helps family members train and become employed as Certified Nursing Assistants for their loved ones with disabilities or special needs. When we first met Havi, we were immediately intrigued. At the time, Abby Care was only a website with a waitlist. But we had seen countless digital healthcare companies and recognized that solving the supply problem was key to better, more accessible care. Abby Care’s business model does just that.Just as Airbnb created hosts out of homeowners who’d never considered starting a hotel, and millions of people who had never worked in a restaurant became delivery drivers with DoorDash, Abby Care unlocks a new supply of quality clinical caregivers.

Abby was born sometime between 2014 and 2018 and is the daughter of Jerry Anderson, the head surgeon who worked for the Fireflies and was killed by Joel Miller when rescuing Ellie. Her father raised her as a member of the Fireflies during the apocalypse and took her to live in Salt Lake City where he worked on making a vaccine for the Cordyceps brain infection.[10]The pair explore, finding a "theater for fish" and a makeshift dock with a sailboat. Inside the boat, they find evidence of a family living there, including a child's drawings. Abby and Owen continue deeper into the aquarium, finding more evidence of the family that had lived there.Initially, she believed the deaths to be the handiwork of Tommy, and used the map Ellie left behind to track him to the Pinnacle Theater. When confronted by the sight of Abby holding Tommy at gunpoint, Ellie, still believing Abby's vengeance on Joel was due to him robbing the world of a cure, offers herself up if the other woman will let Tommy live.Abigail "Abby" Anderson is the playable dual protagonist of The Last of Us Part II[7][8] and a playable character in the No Return mode.[9] A member of the Fireflies broken by tragedy when Joel Miller killed her father Jerry Anderson, Abby made it her mission to avenge Jerry's demise.[10] However, it is only after her vengeance that she embarks on a journey with companion Lev and rediscovers purpose in her life.[6] Abby was born sometime between 2014 and 2018 and is the daughter of Jerry...

So when Ellie chose to spare Abby, she was effectively breaking the cycle of violence... in the writer's eyes. Disregard the legions of enemies that Ellie brutally kills throughout the story. I feel like an ending where you get to kill Abby would be way more satisfying than letting her live.I feel as if the arc of letting abby go couldve and shouldve been fulfilled by ellie staying with dina and not going back after her instead they literally let girl destroy herself for nothing. 🙃 am i mad at them letting abby live no not fully, am i enraged by the fact the last maybe hour maybe of the game was pointless.Maybe one day we can all live happily ever after. ... Plot armor for part 3. ... I always thought it’s cuz Abby is like the unofficial ‘guardian’ of lev and I’d say not really a parent child dynamic but a like sibling dynamic but anyway I think Ellie stops because she sees that Abby cared about getting lev safe and the bond they formed so it’s like Ellie was about to kill lev’s joel and she wants to be better than that, atleast that’s what I think idk tho.I remember seeing someone put it perfectly when talking about why Ellie didn't kill Abby in the end. They basically compared it to if John Wick went on an absolute killing spree to avenge his dog like in the movie but then when he finally comes face to face with the guy who killed his dog just decides to walk away and let him live, after you know, killing countless people who didn't directly have anything to with the killing of his dog.

Answer: It means she gave her a chance to get away and live but Ellie didn't want to live so… I think Abby should imprison the wounded Ellie and try to find someone with the knowledge her father had to extract a cure from her. That's something Ellie wanted too, but Joel took it away from her.
